Place your grainery in the woods near the runis right on the edge not in a clearing. Place your keep to the left of the runins, about 15 square units. Why don't woodcutters cut dead trees? Did anyone else have difficulty with this mission? Even on slow game speed, the wolves still run very fast. Well, I could have created troops with my weapons but then I wouldn't have met my weapons objectives. Still I have some questions: How do you create enough archers/spearmen to take care of wolf attacks without blowing weapons production numbers to meet the goals? Many times I had to let the wolves eat my people because I had no way to attack them. After losing dozens of times here's what I did differently that seemed to work this time:ġ) I slowed down the game speed (to 18) and set it on Easy modeĢ) I placed my keep in a completely different area that I hadn't found before, nearer to the riverģ) I put in dozens of woodcutters and and dozens of wellsĤ) I halved rations until I could plant crops closer to my granaryĥ) I placed archers on gates to kill wolves If anyone else is stuck on this mission, here are a few hints. Stronghold is the only game I've ever played. In my defense let me say that I am a complete beginner at computer games.
I successfully completed The Forest economics mission after many, many, many tries.
